Opinion | It doesn’t matter what Elon Musk says — it was a Nazi Salute

By Zion Schenk, Staff Columnist February 6, 2025

Opinion | Real men love dominant women

By Julianna Steach, Staff Columnist January 31, 2025
By emphasizing that I need a man, I know they mean that I need someone who can look after me, who is stronger, assertive and more dominant. It implies that the “right guy” will force me to take a step back while he makes decisions for the both of us and, if need be, can “defend my honor” if another man makes me feel unsafe

Opinion | I am a broken record worth listening to

By Grace Harris, Senior Staff Columnist January 28, 2025
The repetitive statements on my record are not nonsensical — they derive from the basic morality that this nation has lost in each campaign cycle involving Donald Trump. Most notably, this record is consistent and backed with evidence — at its most basic level, it plays songs advocating for equality.

Opinion | Reactions to the TikTok ban reflect a concerning cultural attitude

By Brynn Murawski, Staff Columnist January 27, 2025
Even if this wasn’t all some master plan to manipulate his constituents, people seemed more distressed over the loss of their favorite viral videos than by the looming threat that Trump’s presidency poses to immigrants, queer people and women.
